Postdoctoral Associate - Human Generosity Project

The Department of Anthropology at Rutgers University-New Brunswick and The Human Generosity Project seek a recent Ph.D. in anthropology or a related field for a two-year postdoctoral fellowship beginning July 1, 2020. The initial appointment will be for one year with the possibility of renewal for the second year following a performance review in early 2021. The successful candidate will conduct research on mutual aid in the contemporary United States under the supervision of the co-directors of The Human Generosity Project (Lee Cronk, anthropology, Rutgers, and Athena Aktipis, psychology, Arizona State). We seek someone skilled in research design and qualitative and quantitative methods of data collection and analysis. Expertise and interest in health policy is also desirable but not required.
